Dear First Year Teacher, Congratulations on becoming a classroom teacher! If you're anything like me, you've dreamed about having your own classroom since you were a little kid yourself. Hey Hey, happy Fri-Yay!!! I'm still seeing all the Target Dollar Spot posts on my Insta and I'm literally swooning. I know my purchases made all of you excited and yours are making me excited too! Self-control is something I've had to practice this week because I realized that #1, comparison is the thief of joy (don't compare your insta-teacher favorites to yourself) and #2, hello budget. I did state in my post on Sunday that my husband doesn't really care what I spend on my classroom but I haven't even visited the teacher store yet sooooo... self-control had to take a front seat. Plus it's only mid-July. I still have another month until I can get into my classroom and see if and what I still need  want. On a random note, I'm thinking of changing my farmhouse classroom theme. The 4th of July has come and gone which means it's game-on for Back-to-School sales at most big box stores, ahem, Target mainly. Although I've only been on summer vacation for a couple of weeks, I've already planned my classroom theme (Farmhouse) and bought a plethora of items whenever I see good deals. This past week, I went to my local Target and they had NOTHING in the Dollar Spot for back to school yet. I was so sad that I drove later that night to a different location and hit the jackpot! Then, yesterday morning, I went to a third location and ended up getting almost everything that I needed  wanted.  I mean, when you have a shopping buddy like this, it's so much fun!  Thanks to the wonderful world of Instagram , us teachers post good deals and amazing products so the search game is always on in full force.
